Here she is in all her glory . . fresh from her yearly oiling and brass cleaning. . Enjoy. . .I've missed you guys. I'd like to hear from any of you what has been happening around here. You guys are about the only people I can carry on with about Alembics. Everyone else thinks I'm a little crazy. I mean what sane man spends eight hours taking apart his brass bridge and cleaning each individual bridge piece? I try to explain to them it really NEEDED TO BE DONE! The bridge had never been "deep cleaned" in it's entire 32 year existence. And one of the great things about Alembics is the way the various woods age. . .my bass is a lot darker than when I bought it those many years ago in 1974. . .
