Hello Mica, I recently bought an Alembic Mark King standard from the previous owner and am very pleased with it. I only like to now a bit more about the details of this bass especially about the wood which has been used. The previous owner doesn't know the type of wood. The serial# is 94MJ8186 (photo attached) I guess the top is walnut but I am not sure. I'd appreciate it if you could forward to me the history records for this bass. Thanks for your help. Werner

Here is what is in the file for 94MJ8186: MJLB4 top: Flame Walnut accent: Maple body: Mahogany, hollowed upper half neck through body: 3 Maple with 2 Walnut veneers fingerboard: Ebony with Pearloid oval inlays, side LEDs in red controls: 2 AXY pickups with master volume, pan/blend, filter and Q switch for each pickup, LEDs on/off birthday: February 18, 1994 originally sold to : Musik Jellinghaus There is no history of owners or repairs. Please take a moment to register your bass if you haven't already done so. That pattern of flame is called "feather flame" and it's absolutely stunning! |
