Your other basses may not be too pleased with you because there is no turning back now. If you are not sure what that means yet, give it a week. Very nice score, i know you will enjoy. I was very surprised to see this bass go for 800 total with shipping and hardshell case. Just wondering why this bass was a special edition. I am pretty pumped about getting this bass. I am an intermediate player who is looking to take the next level with an inspiring instrument. Valentino Villevieille (valvil) Moderator Username: valvil Post Number: 104 Registered: 7-2002 Posted on Sunday, March 16, 2003 - 6:31 pm:    The only thing I see that's not standard on an Epic are the fretboard inlays, those are extra on that model; I can't tell from the pictures if yours are mother of pearl, mother of plastic or abalone. Also the top wood is most definitely not walnut, as indicated by previous owner, but flame maple, and a nice one at that. Congratulations on your new baby. These were made in a group and sent to the Guitar Center stores as an anniversary model for them. I think these were for the 34th anniversary, but I don't exactly remember. We did two different years of anniversary models for Guitar Center.
