Hi Mica,

I wanted to slightly alter the specifications for the neck dimensions on my order for a Series II (ordered through the Bass Gallery in London). I will keep the width across the 24th fret the same at 2.250, but I want to change the width at the nut from 1.625 to 1.5 inches.

Also, I know that you are busy catching up with things but I am just wondering when I might be able to see a few additional samples of Superb Flame Walnut as per my email of February 20. Is it more convenient for you if I wait until sometime in April or later?

I'll be putting up more wood selections next week, James. This week I'm taking care of Mary's duties here as now she's the one with the bad flu.

I've added your neck dimension change to the order. What gauges of strings do you prefer on your bass?

Hi Mica,

Thank you for getting back to me and I hope everyone at Alembic will be feeling better soon. The Series II is to be a short scale and I thought your CX-3/45S strings and gauges sounded fine.

Although I presently play a long scale, the gauges are extremely light: Elites (London) 35 55 75 95.
