I was wondering if there were any possible electronics upgrades I can do to my Epic. I would like the filter and q switch. Any suggestions? |

There isn't much room available in the electronics cavity to add additional controls on a standard Epic bass. We'd probably have to enlarge the electronics cavity and make a new backplate to make this possible. It's a modification that could be done with about a week turnaround time for $355 for the parts (filter, Q switch, backplate) and $150 labor. |

I was able to squeeze a filter and q switch into my Orion without enlarging the cavity. I had to move the pan control to hole where the bass control was. The filter and switch then fit in the two back holes. Its a tight fit, but it works. The switch is too small for the hole, so I put a small piece of plastic tubing over the switch as a spacer. I had a larger nut, but you could use a washer as well. I wasn't to hard to do, and it sounds great. |
