The screws on my Tribute's control cavity plate don't screw into the wood, but into small threaded bushings. I imagine all Alembics have this feature. I want to get similar screws/bushings to mount the pickup rings on other brands of guitar because I swap pickups a lot. I've looked everywhere for small hardware pieces like this, for example AllParts and StewMac, but all I can find is bushings for tuning machines and bridges. Anyone know where I can get screws and bushings appropriately sized for mounting pickup rings? |

The threaded inserts for plates are custom made for us. You can special order them (in sets with the screws) by calling us at 707-523-2611. |

Thanks, that will be a huge help. I had assumed this was a common sort of thing I'd find in a hardware store, but I've discovered that's not at all the case. |

Mica, I forgot to ask when I ordered this morning: what kind of driver do those inserts require? If it requires a T-shaped driver made in the shop using one of the screws, can I add the driver to my order? |
