Here's my new baby! Should be here later today. Cannot wait to get cracking on this beauty.

I'll post more pics once I get it.

Beautiful- what a way to start.

Have fun playing.... when I got my signature equipped Rogue I spent about 10 hrs turning knobs and going "ooooooh" "ahhhhhhhh" and "Whoaaaa"

Smiles are sure to follow.

You will love that bass. I have a SC Sig Standard that is similar, and I love it. Congrats and enjoy. Welcome to the club!

Alan

P.S. Warning: your first Alembic may induce prolonged periods of GAS, which can only be cured by buying another Alembic. My name is Alan, and I'm an Alembaholic.

Sure is a gorgeous bass. Glad to see more Alembics coming to this side of the pond.
Welcome to a great club.

Congrats and welcome to the club! I'm the proud owner of an awesome Europa, and I should be receiving a new custom Coco Bolo Signature bass in a couple of weeks.

Congrats on your bass, it's a beaut!

Welcome from a fellow UK Alembician. I have the quilt maple topped version of the SC deluxe, and it's the most effortless bass to play. But after seeing those pics you posted, I've got a hankering for some cocobolo - that is absolutely gorgeous!

Congratulations on your acquisition - is the bass brand new or second-hand?

Thanks for all the great comments about my bass - as I'm sure you all know, she's even better in the flesh, simply stunning.

The Bass is brand new from Bass World. You're right, Karl, she is effortless to play but not to get the sound right! I'm a bit overwhelmed at present with the variety of sounds she can produce - My last bass was warm and muffled, a bit more muffled, or a little bit brighter. The Alembic is a whole new ball game.

You have some stunning cocobolo there, Joolz. The "bird's eye" on the horns is a particularly striking pattern.

Yes, it does take a while to get used to the amazing variety of sounds the Sig electronics can produce - I still find new ones every few rehearsals, but finding them is half the fun!

That is a beautiful bass. Both me and my daughter was looking at you bass, and our eyes' lit-up-like it was something from a King Tut tumb. What a wonderful piece of art, it is.

I have a 1976 series I with the same body style. Have fun and may you enjoy the best quality bass in the world!

Thanks for all the great comments. I've been on a quest for my perfect bass for some time now and it seems I've finally found her. Thank you!
