Thanks for all the great comments about my bass - as I'm sure you all know, she's even better in the flesh, simply stunning. The Bass is brand new from Bass World. You're right, Karl, she is effortless to play but not to get the sound right! I'm a bit overwhelmed at present with the variety of sounds she can produce - My last bass was warm and muffled, a bit more muffled, or a little bit brighter. The Alembic is a whole new ball game. | ||

You have some stunning cocobolo there, Joolz. The "bird's eye" on the horns is a particularly striking pattern. Yes, it does take a while to get used to the amazing variety of sounds the Sig electronics can produce - I still find new ones every few rehearsals, but finding them is half the fun! Paul | ||
