Bill!

Let me be the first to say HOW FREAKIN' SWEET!

I know you've had it for a while, but that is one of the most sublimely beautiful machines ever made by human hands.

Don't be afraid to put some dings on it.

P.S.

I suspect there's more than one reason you're calling this one "Woody"...

Way to go Billy boy! of course we all knew this was going to be COTM one day. All those trips to the mothership certainly paid off ;-)

A well deserved honour for a fantastic guitar.

Makes me wish I was a competent guitarist. Then I could really covet your new Further (Since I'm not, I can only "generally" covet your guitar.). Congratulations. Sweet looking ax.

Hi Bill,
I saw the factory to customer thread just last night of your Further. What a beautiful guitar! The inlay work is sweet and the top/back are incredible. Wishing you the best of health to play that beauty!
Best,
Art

ps: Falling asleep at midnight with guitar in hands was great! Certainly a hazard of any Alembic :-)

Eh...it's Okay.........

JUST Kidding Bill. This is a very sweet axe. One of these days I may have me an Alembic guitar but a fretless bass is probably first.

Congrats Bill!

Bill--

Beautiful, beautiful piece of art--and you can even make music with it as well!!

Congratulations, and enjoy. Perhaps we can see it in person at the next N. California Alembic gathering--

I like the politically correct wording used to describe the inlay on the back of the headstock.

That's just pornographically beautiful. How do you folks keep doing it? I've been checking COTM for years, and they just keep getting better.

I'll just have to "settle" for my Orion and Series I...which is hardly settling!

OK, funny... I wondered what the acronym COTM was and now I see a reference to it, thanks Bradley - LOL (won't forget that).

I was browsing factory to customer when I saw it. Now I just checked it out at the Alembic homepage!

Wow, some new great shots of that stunning guitar along with detailed information.

Again, enjoy it Bill and congratulations!

Play it in good health!

Thank you to everyone for your kind words. Now I'll have to drop a few quid on coffee mugs, and I don't even drink coffee! I also have a new background for my computer. This has been a blast and continues to be every time I plug Woody in. (Rehearsal tonight - YEA!) ... and if anyone has an old E-type jag ....????

Bill,

I was not a huge fan of the Further until I saw this beauty. Each aspect so well complements the next...the contrasting woods...peghead bevels...inlays. It's really an amazing work of art. Enjoy it in good health for years to come.

Regards,

Jonathan

Wow Bill, that's all I can think to say, wow, Bill. How did rehearsal go? Did you get anything rehearsed or did Woody steal the show? Congratulations.

Well here it is, Halloween, October 31st, and the last day of Woody's reign as COTM (or at least until Mica finds the time to post the new one). I just want to thank everyone again for all of your kind words about Woody. After some initial tweaking and adjusting, Woody is sounding and playing great. Woody has had a blast as COTM and will have a bit of sadness relinquishing the crown. He is a little disappointed that during the month he was unable to accomplish his goals of bringing peace to the world, feeding the starving children, and meeting Britney Spears. (fade to Bert Parks singing: "There it is, Miss or Mr. COTM") ...... hehehehehe

May everyone enjoy all of their Alembics for many COTM's to come.

A tongue-in-cheek comment on the vacuousness of the typical answer from the airhead beauty contestant who is asked "what would you do if you are chosen Miss USA?" (Lindsay Lohan is hotter, of course! lol)

A truely beautiful guitar. Even though the crown will eventually be passed, that in no way detracts from what the folks at Alembic have accomplished in creating Woody.

Enjoy in good health Bill!!!

What more could I say? That is one Badd-^$&()# guitar!! The top and back are phenomenal, the inlay is creative and beautifully done, truley worthy of COTM status! Can't wait to see the 60th Edition! Could ya give ME some tips if ya get that approved ;)

Congrats and Enjoy, Mike, tHo
