Okay just had to share this with you lot!!
So there I was with my bass plugged in my Roland cube, low volume as I was just practicing tunes, fingerboard exercises, scales etc as I was watching TV last night sat on a beanbag. Was changing tones when I suddenly locked onto this honking tone, bridge PU, Q switch active and the filter about 1-2 o'clock position looking at the bass from above. I tell you it was like a F jazz on vitamins and steroids.
The bass line to 'The Chicken' sounded great, I have left it in that position not wanting to move it, maybe I should put a small ink mark at that point.
After ten years I still manage to find nice tones from my bass.

Im very surprised at the tonal variations that I can find on my Persuader! Highly surprising from a bass with only three "knobs."

I can also get a great Jaco type "honk" very easily by using the bridge "jazz" pickup, colouring the sound by using a little of the split pickup and rolling the tone off a third!

Great!!!!!!!
