Alembic shows their complete and awesome dedication by making beauty after beauty. I am never bored by looking at picture after picture of this fine craftsmanship. As I've stated before where else can we see this type of documentation on something made for us as individuals. Thanks for another gorgeous instrument for the world to enjoy. And again enjoy it Shoji! (Message edited by artswork99 on January 15, 2008) |

That's so cool, I love it! My knock-around Alembic is a near duplicate from '03 with Europa electronics and no back laminate. I can tell you that the wood is beautiful in its simplicity and the sound is marvelous. Shoji, you've designed a versatile instrument of which you will never tire! -Bob |

Another greatly crafted bass and it takes me back to the 70's when I first clapped eyes on Stan's bass..it does look very retro apart from the re positioned pu selector. Congratulatons on your purchase of such a fine bass |

I'm going to make a desktop background with it... Nice touch on the gold logo. Because I appear to have a little too much free time, and I can't practice while I'm at work. ;) |

I just love that orange look of the vermillion. I'm tickled for Shoji, but so help me, I could NEVER put that strap button in the middle of the neck joint! J o e y |

It's the best possible place for balance on this little body. Any other location (except to closer to the nut on the heel of the neck) makes for a real floor-diver. I love the Red Tiger bass too! It's so simple, and so absolutely Alembic. I think it's great how with the restraint of design, you can really appreciate the form of the bass. |

Only way that bass could look nicer is if it were laying on my bed...since that ain't happenin it did manage to become my computer monitor's desktop image. Congrats!!! (Message edited by alembickoa on January 22, 2008) (Message edited by alembickoa on January 22, 2008) |

Shoji: Congrats and welcome to the COTM club. A beautiful bass with a decidedly old school vibe. I love it. Play it in good health. Bill, tgo |
