I am never bored by looking at picture after picture of this fine craftsmanship. As I've stated before where else can we see this type of documentation on something made for us as individuals. My knock-around Alembic is a near duplicate from '03 with Europa electronics and no back laminate. I can tell you that the wood is beautiful in its simplicity and the sound is marvelous. Any other location (except to closer to the nut on the heel of the neck) makes for a real floor-diver. I love the Red Tiger bass too! It's so simple, and so absolutely Alembic.
