Mica (or anyone who really knows), I'm thinking of boosting the input gain on my SF-2, which I'm still using as my preamp. According to the manual, there is an internal jumper for setting the gain at 0/10/20dB, factory set to 10. I haven't opened it up yet, but would I be correct in assuming all of the following: - The jumper location will be obvious - It will be one of those pluggable things (no soldering) - Going from 10 to 20 will not noticeably degrade the signal quality. I'd appreciate confirmation, or further advice/corrections as appropriate. Thanks, -Bob |

Yes, it's a little jumper located near the front input jack and the gain settings are marked on the legend, you'll have no trouble finding it. Dad sez the 10 to 20 jump will have no degradation of signal quality, it will just make it louder. |
