SF-2 input gain adjustment

According to the manual, there is an internal jumper for setting the gain at 0/10/20dB, factory set to 10. I haven't opened it up yet, but would I be correct in assuming all of the following: - The jumper location will be obvious - It will be one of those pluggable things (no soldering) - Going from 10 to 20 will not noticeably degrade the signal quality. I'd appreciate confirmation, or further advice/corrections as appropriate. Dad sez the 10 to 20 jump will have no degradation of signal quality, it will just make it louder.
