Hi everybody,

I just bought this great MK Triple Omega 5-String Bass at the Atlanta Bass Gallery.
It has the No. SN#02MK12855 and the price was $ 3800.-.

I think that is a great price too. Ken payed only $ 3400.- for the 4-String Triple Omega, but I liked this one.

My Alembic-Family has grown, now I have a 2001 MK Signature 4-String with a Quilted Maple Top, a 5-string Persuader from 1988, Quilted Maple too, an 2001 Excel 5-string with Cocobolo Top and this wonderful MK Triple Omega.

I hope, you like it too!

Uli

I have to stop adding all of these club member's acquisitions to my wish list. Everytime I see one it's like, "I just gotta' have it!"

Nice bass Uli, enjoy.

That is the bass I went to see in Sumter, SC. last year. It's a real beauty and in great shape. I had to pass on it as I felt the omega cutaways prevented a comfortable sitting position.

Here's a post with additional pictures and birth information from the original owner http://alembic.com/club/messages/395/10580.html

Enjoy Uli and Play it Healthy!

I've always been a big fan of this shape, and your fiver is definately a stunner, Uli... congrats, man !

I was veerrrry tempted to buy a triple O last year that was for sale in Sacramento, or is it still for sale ? But my wife kicked in the Alembic break, I've reached my limit for quite some time now... hmmm, thinking about good times and bad times in a marriage :-)

Hug her and love her, she's gorgeous... your triple Omega I mean :-)

Welcome to the Triple O club, Uli! That is a great price, especially with the Coco Bolo back & heart omega.
Congratulations & best of luck!

That's a wonderful bass and a good price.
Well, the exchange rate of the USD to Euro is good for buying basses from US ;-))
