Hi
I'm SERIOUSLY considering the 5 string Epic for sale on E Bay UK at the moment.
Anyone got any pics of what the electronics should look like??
Any other issues with this bass?
I need the help of Epic owners on this one. JACKO has even offered to pop over to my house to let me see his Epic 5 again (see Scottish gathering) He only lives about 20 miles away.
It's just that it seems such a great price, and in such good condition, that I thought something might be wrong with her.
ALL advice and help welcome on this one, as the Auction finishes soon.

Thanks

It's in Scotland George, couldn't you arrange to see it?

Yeah,
He's only about an hour away.
It's just that I would want to see inside the control cavity to check the electronics, but I wouldn't know what I was looking at in the Epic. Now if it was a Series, then I'd know exactly what to look for.
Thanks Mark

I don't think the £750 he's hoping for is cheap for an epic in the UK. If it's the one that was in guitar guitar in glasgow 18 months ago (which ties in with the sellers comments) it sold for £800. I'll try to popst an electronics pic in a short while.

Georgie,

This instrument is less than 20 miles from me and i think at this price it represents good value for money-think about it, its about the same price as a new factory produced US fender jazz.

If it was a four stringer I would be competing against you for it, it looks killer to me!

Georgie,
Just an explanation: In my picture, I lifted the ferrite bead on the left to get a better look inside, but the wire bundles hide the top pot.

Thanks Kris.
I think my price limit is just about reached, but I'll watch it a while longer.
