Hi i'm about to make a warmoth project,and i wnat to put alembic jazz activator in it,someone can help me with the spec of this activator?the activator need to be grounded?i need to ground another part of the bass?what about the dimension of the jack?for you is better the axy or mxy due too that i'm starting a new one and don't make a replacement.what about the dimanesion of the axy and mxy and for least i'm a lefty this pickup work as the same if i turned it into my position?thank you at all bye

Hi Alan;

Pickup sizes are here.

There is a discussion of pickups here.

Grounding. The pickups are plugged into the pc boards, upon which the pots are mounted. The control cavity is completely painted with shielding paint. The pots are grounded to the paint when they are securely attached to the body.

If you are looking at this the pickups are direct replacements for the standard Jazz Bass pickup. They are not the same as the AXY and MXY pickups. The pickups will function the same whether they are installed in a left hand or right hand bass.
