What is the story on the cut and shape on top of most Alembics? It looks like an eastern dome -- seen in the middle east, and India. It is a very profound shape, and give a beautiful vibe or carma.

When I play my Bass, I feel like it was a rate find, from Sindbad's treasure chest. It just looks like it came from a different era. It just takes you to such a time, when details were important, and the roundness, was happy and full with details.

The top crown shapes looks like it came from the Tajma-hal.

It also has a look and feel of the leathery and rugget days of the old west, hanging up with a shot gun collection in a 1840 saloon in Mexico.

What vibes of magic does your Alembic gives off?

"What vibes of magic does your Alembic gives off?"

Mine gives off these, well, literal vibrations. Very low in frequency, but complex with many overtones. To some extent, all my basses give off these Vibrations. And the way it makes me feel, definitely MAGIC. ;-)

I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself.
