Hey Mica! I finally had a long conversation with Fat Dawg today and he turned out to be the nicest guy. And whats more he knew *exactly* which Gold Shallers we were talking about for my '74 Brown Bass. He said he thought he might have given you some in trade for something at one time . . do you remember that? Anyway, he has several sources and is "on the case" looking for them for me. I only need two which makes it easier according to him. He said worse case scenario we'll find someone who has an old bass that isn't really much of anything except that it has the Shallers we need and I end up having to buy it for the gears. Which I would be willing to do to get the right Tuners for My Baby. . Anyway that's the Tuners story so far. . all other leads have come to a dead end. But I'm still resolute. . I WILL find them.
