You asked about the (differences in) electronics. This thread talks about the control set up for Anniversary electronics like the Brown Bass. http://alembic.com/club/messages/16271/27398.html?1145728615. You already know about signature electronics. The biggest difference in the woods affecting sound is that the BB neck is predominantly mahogany, while most signature basses have necks made of maple with other lams (purpleheart, ebony, etc). Mahogany necks usually have a warmer sound than maple.

Yes you can use Anniversary electronics in stereo mode. On the bass end you need a 1/4" TRS plug and split this into two separate 1/4" TS plugs on the amplifier end. One plug is for the neck pick up and the other plug is for the bridge pickup.

Stereo plug on one side, two mono plugs on the other side ;-)

I'll try to get a picture over the weekend.

My cable is custom made but as Flip said you should be able to find cables locally. I know I can find these at my local big box music store. I would look for a 1/4" stereo cable in the length you need and then look for a 1/4" stereo to 1/4" mono Y-cable.
