i seem to remember a thread about 2 string basses, and 2 strings being "all you really need." i also seem to remember thinking that idea is about as ridiculous as this picture. but not quite.

Just the other day I heard a Bass player and thought that he would be better off with only 2 strings.

I guess when your band is called "D A D" you want a bass with both notes.
