I'd order one, but Mica doesn't have it in the quote generator yet. This would have the perfect tone to complement my current Alembics. I am sure that it can do everything my current instruments can't! -bob |

Wow, at that price you'd think they would include drawing pin strap buttons and a black sharpie marker pen neck laminate stripe least. I wonder if this is the first fretless model Alembic has released? Jazzyvee |

Alembic wimped out here! If you really want to show off the striping of the exotic corrugated ultralight material, you really need to bookmatch the top. It takes a steady hand to slice through the center of the top, but when you lay it open and reveal the beautiful matched striping it's all worth it. Maybe THG can make some bubble wrap knobs for this to really finish it off properly! David Fung |

Hey - a one-string guitar. Maybe I can learn how to play it if it only has one string. |

Oh PA-LEASE!! What's this a "Wish I was a Wish bass"? I'd expect this sort of thing from Bass Player magazine. |

I want one with plywood neck lams. I understand it increases sustain. (Message edited by AltGrendel on April 02, 2009) |

Great new model, but still out of my price range I'm afraid. I'm thinking about seeing how much it would cost to have one of these built with Series 2 electronics. |

Charles, it was a cardboard version of a Tribute with two "strings" and a balsa-cored neck through the body. I wonder if Mica could stick it into a thread post somewhere for posterior's sake? -bob |

Unfortunately, I had to threaten Mica with legal action to get that page removed. The new "special" infringed on my prototype; an ultra-light touchstyle instrument (Patent pending) seen below. |
