Check out the Alembic copies down a bit in this brochure. They look pretty close! Dave http://brochures.yokochou.com/guitar-and-amp/fernandes/1982/en_index.html |

Oh yes indeed - the subject of numerous threads here at the club! These were great basses and are actually collectable in their own right now. Woodworking/build wise they are superb and extremely close to the real thing. The similarity ends with the electrics however, they arent close in this department but still sound great! John. |

I have a Fernandes Masterhand Guitar - Alembic-inspired, for sure. I replaced the electronics with Alembic, among other mods. Great guitar. Bill, tgo |

I just sold my Fab 180 and although it was good it was nowhere near the quality in both woodworking or electronics that my new Alembic is in fact it was not even close really! |
