Alembic and flatwound strings

If so, what are the best brands to use? Carol Kaye calls 'em the Rolls Royce of strings & I totally agree; I use them on all my Alembics. The B-string on the Chromes is worthless. Those strings really sing - very mellow and sweet. I do like the TI's too, they are just different. I find them more midrangey and work better with my series II. And don't forget to bring the Kinder surprise - it's a miniature bass rig! Goes wonderfully well with the purple cows fom Switzerland, only the brown notes keep woofing up after an hour or so.
