You should really sign up for updates on the Brutal Legend video game. Someone is going to win a cool guitar.

Will there be a "Factory to Customer" thread?

Todd.

Mica,
Did Alembic have anything to do with the guitar in "The Pick of Destiny" movie? I thought the inlays were at least an homage to your instruments.
Thanks,
Dan

How selfish, not open to Non USA residents..... :-(

Not that I have a clue about computer gaming or even who Tenacious D are.

Well, I'm with Jazzy. Why is it all these competitions are only open to US residents? Same applies to the Bass Player subscription prizes.

Graeme

p.s. loved the tenacious D movie first time round but I can't watch it anymore. Just too corny.

So Keavin, is "serialnumber12" your alter ego? Kind of like Super Man and Clark Kent?

I'd love to change in a zip-lock bag, but "I could never get my socks off!"
that line came from what comedy album.. for 20 points (and maybe a beer)

I'm signed up also. This is like having a free lottery ticket. The possibility of winning such a unique instrument is an adrenalin pumper. Mica, thanks for the tip.

(Now all of these and other questions run through my mind: How long has this been in the works? How long will it take to build the instrument? Will the body style become part of the Alembic lineup in the future? Rules, regulations, disclaimers, IRS, etc., etc., and all of the topics we all discussed and talked about in our own recent thread about the possibility of an Alembic instrument raffle.)

I do feel badly for the club members outside of the states who are not eligible.

I love having new Alembic points to ponder!) I do hope a club member wins this one.

I wish I lived in the US... No contest for me... Brazil is out....
Damn...
I'm with my fingers crossed to see this one in the hands of a club member. I would hate to see it going to some video game nerd somewhere that will use it as a pokemon card holder...

Tax issues have alot to do with contests not be available overseas, and even some states. Nothing is free.
