The shop priced it from one of the used gear guides, I priced it from Ebay and other internet history. I watched the price decrease over several months - during which I had opportunity to play it numerous times. When I discussed the price at Chuck Levin's (where the bass was most likely sold from), they seemed to think that was reasonable.
