It had a maple body core, a lacewood top, and a peroba rosa back. It was a long scale with the Standard Point body shape. My 1981 Alembic weighs exactly 11 pounds Same body shape, but different woods are used. The 1981 also has a graphite neck. It can be a bit confusing since it has West in its name.
