Hi everyone,
Could someone give me the dimensions (LxWxH) of a long scale 20th anniversary model With omega cut-out. I am purchasing one and was wondering if it would fit in my gigbag. Thanks, and does anyone have any opinions good or bad about these basses?
Thanks,
-Ed

Hey Ed-

I just happen to have these handy: 20th Anniversary 5-string (so a 4 will be a bit less wide):

body @ widest point = 15"
crown headstock @ widest = 5.875"
overall lenght = 49"

FYI - because of the angled headstock and length of the headstock, it will NOT fit in a standard Levys 50" bag (leather). I tried!

Opinion of the bass: It's an Alembic!! I've had mine since 1990, it was my first, and I love it. The only tone better I've found is my Series basses. If the one you're looking at is the Maple version, it is very bright - there's nothing but Maple and Purpleheart in them.

good luck!!
