hmmm -
Front is nice.
Gotta see the back before I can pass judgement.

Welcome to the club!

Great job on Hot Fun!

looks very nice..I see it has got a P pick up, alledgedly Alembics most powerful unit along with a jazz rear.
It has the Signature Standard type neck(pin stripe laminates)
Top looks like bubinga although coco bolo comes to mind as it is dark.
serial number would confirm everything.

It's the standard Spoiler/Persuader type neck, so it won't have walnut pinstripes between the maple neck laminates, which were introduced after 1994. It will have the sacrificial walnut laminate under the fretboard that was dropped from specs right about the same time.

The finish appears to have yellowed quite a bit, but that could be the lighting, the camera and the compression all messing with the colours in the digital image.

I believe there's a fix available for the PJ configuration to improve the balance of the two pickups (loud P, soft J).

Also buy a small bottle of essential lemon oil to clean up the fretboard - it will look so much nicer. (The smell is an acquired taste, but it wears off in minutes.)

Nice, Guy!
Welcome to the forum. Your groove and sound was pretty good on Hot Fun also. I see you had at least four other instruments in the background.

Enjoy and keep on pumping the lowend.
