I had a hunch you were.
...been munching on your 'special' cookies?

Did you score the second Mesa M-2000?
That's gonna be a killer set-up...I couldn't imagine you missing out the opportunity to play YOUR custom Alembic through 2 M-2000's.

Good to hear your just being playful.

Thanks for asking Elwood.

I am still in the market for that second Mesa M-2000 Amp.

There was one offer, but I felt the price was over my head, and there were modifications that Mesa Boogie authorities might had found questionable, and the foot switch was missing.

I would had gladly paid more than his asking price, if it was left in original condition (with the foot switch and tubes) and he had proof of being the original owner.

I offered him what I believe it was worth, and he said good luck...

So, yes I am still in the market for a second amp, what a drag.

Tony, you totally get it. That was my whole intentions. It was for kicks and laughs. It was fun before posting it and I laughed so hard after it was posted. I am a stinker, I know it... But it was done with the spirit of joy and jest.

Right on!

I contacted the seller, and left my phone number. This will complete my rig if a deal is made.

Elwood, I talked to the guy. He will not ship.

What a sweet deal. Only if I lived in Washington...O'well, just not in the cosmic universe for me.

The one amp is good enough for now anyway. I still might get the Titan-12.

How about a trade? I have a stunning Elan 5 in black (or any color you want) closing in on the finish line.
Because of the Series electronics, I'll throw in my Mesa PH1000 (you can pick it up at my place, I'll get the coffee can you take some cookies?)
:-)

The Titan-12 is a mean beast love the looks (never tried one)

To expand the power of your rig, I can strongly recommend the Strategy 400 (or 500)
With the preamp section from the M-2000 you will be in for a serious blast.

Downside: You need at least two cabs since the Strattegy has to have a load on both channels (the M-2000 will be fine running without a speaker load)
If you use three cabs, you can fi use an effects processor (or any device) between the M-2000 and poweramp.
Than you'll have one cab without effects (powered by the M-2000) and 2 cabs with effects stereo or mono, whatever you like (powered by the Strategy in my case)

If you ever go to Petaluma say hi to Randall Smith for me please. :-)

Flip, you truly have: "The Rig of Kings" and although your Fabulous bass would be tempting for even the most noblest members, I must humbly decline this robust offer, for The Toma_Hawk is my champion pedigree, my Alpha male.

However, I do have a 76 Shorty that I might consider.... with a box of cookies on top to make the deal sweet :-) (Just kidding...) Shorty stays with me too...

Man, I'll keep just have to keep searching until the amp comes along. My mind is pretty much set on a second Mesa M-2000. Hopefully, I'll find one in the near future.

As for the cabs, I will add one more 4X10 and call it a day. I'll probably will head out to the "California Back-Roads of Petaluma" to Mesa B-HQ.

I love taking a drive out there on the weekends. So many nice people, and may even visit some friends in Ukiah. Hee hee... Man, that's another planet dude.

BTW, I been peeping on the control configurations from your FTC, and that bass says: "HEAR ME ROAR, and Purr too!" Super clean dude, and I can't wait to see it!

Peace and Love-

I still can't figure out how you guys can have such high-wattage rigs and live; sound guys are always asking me to turn down my old Acoustic 370 at TWO...really, how do you do it?

and a smoke-damaged furniture you can drive it away today
act now act now and receive as our gift our gift to you
they come in all colors one size fits all
no muss no fuss no spills you're tired of kitchen drudgery
everything must go going out of business going out of business

Hey Flip,

I made an acquisition on a second Mesa Boogie Basis M-2000 amp with foot switch, and a second 4-10" cabinet today.

My Inventory:

2 Mesa Boogie M-2000 600 watts each amps
2 Cabinets 4-10"
1 F-1X
1 F-2B

Now my Toma_Hawk and Shorty will have their own completely dedicated amps and speakers.

That's enough for me -- I am finished, complete, and done.

Problem solved!

Hi Hal ,
I am happy to hear you that you have been able to acquire the desired amplification configuration of your "Minds Eye and Third Ear ! ". I know that we are all going to share your heightened state of elation as well when the TOMA_HAWK is put into your hands. I am looking forward to that as well .

E, it's funny how everything fits into place. Here's a guy that's 1 hour from my home has the same rig as the one, I purchased from a cool cat in San Francisco.

I been playing the heck out of this Mesa, and learning all the beautiful musical colors. This rig is an absolutely spectacular system just by it's self, but with the Alembic F-2B and F-1X, GOODNESS GRACIOUS!

Wolf, it's so funny because, I made two calls for this newer purchase which turned out to be duds, and then all of a sudden, I got a phone call this morning from a guy who has the same rig. I add a big star to sellers who keep their original sales receipts, and maintenance records; and this seller had everything of a legitimate sale.

As a general rule, I too, try to maintain all my original receipts; for you'll never know, I might want to sell something of great value too, most people really appreciate it.

When the Toma_Hawk get's here, I'll probably expect to hear a few farm animals knocking on my door, or even ring my door bell threaten me to turn my music down, or else... they'd be calling the cops.

Wow, can you imagine that?

It must be something in my cookies LOL!!

Peace and Love!
