Just in time for holiday gift giving or scroogian keep-it-for-yourselvies, two Maple cutting boards to grace your kitchen: Each one has four 3M rubber feet attached with stainless steel screws on the underside. Coated with a food-safe oil finish. Your choice of Point or Tribute shape. These examples are the least beautiful ones in the run, so you can be assured yours will look even nicer! You can order in the store and use coupon code CB-12 to save $6. If you order more than one, we will make sure the $6 discount shows up on all cutting boards. The coupon expires on December 20, and shipments will start no later than December 14. There's only about 30 of each of these styles available, and we don't make them every year. Enjoy! |

For now it's the only shapes we've offering. It's possible we'll add other ones in coming years. |

LOL!!! I would rather grace my studio with the real Toma_Hawk. Personally, I wouldn't want any Alembic cutting board, unless I had the bass to match it... Just like, I don't want a Mercedes key charm, unless it came with the keys and the whole car too. I am sitting here laughing big time... Can you imagine somebody saying: "Hey everybody I have an Alembic too!" Then they would wip-out a cutting board and say: "See, here it is BAM! I'll be getting the strings tomorrow..." LOL! Well, I was the first to order one (imagine that, as a professional cook and aspiring Chef) - a Tribute model. It will make my kitchen look that much better. Hell, for that matter, it will make my food taste better! ;-) Alan |

Alan; I think I read that only vegetables should be prepared on a genuine Alembic cutting board. |

And those veg should be free range and harvested by cloistered holy men who are karmically aware with polished auras arrayed in hemp garments woven by virgin wiccan. |

The simpsons have a quote for every occasion: Lisa: Oh, the earth is the best! That's why I'm a vegetarian. Jesse: Heh. Well, that's a start. Lisa: Uh, well, I was thinking of going vegan. Jesse: I'm a level 5 vegan -- I won't eat anything that casts a shadow. |

My wife uses hemp handcream from The Body Shop. It does wonders for her hands but it smells the same as when passing a coffee shop (you know the kind we have in our nick of the woods). It's about as bad as the smell of stale beer in a bar after closing time. |

Adriaan, it's generally considered to be really bad form to describe your spouse as smelling like "stale beer in a bar after closing time". |

I was referring to the handcream --- "it does wonders for her hands but it smells like ..." Bad joke, Dave - think about your karma! |

Adriann: How long has she had it? I well remember the Body Shop line of hemp products. It was delightful to see the large cannabis leaf in the front window of Body Shops in airports all over the country. I used the shampoo and conditioner until they discontinued the products. As I recall they had a problem with some of the products going bad after a period of time. The might explain the "bad" smell. Bill, tgo |

I figure I better offer here first for calls of "dibs" but a few extra special cutting boards were created. #61 is $125: #62 is $155: You can call "dibs" by post on the Club or email me if you are the more private type. There may be one or two more fancy ones in this run. |
