Hey Mica - I just recently bought a F-1X because I'm going to do some high-class studio-recordings soon, and I'd like to get the same good sound every time - so I hope this will do the trick :o)

..anyway, I'd like to know a little about it's past - I bought it in a shop who had it for sale as a "demo"-model ..but one of the guys said it was second hand.. and it looks a little used too (and I know Chris Celinder, and he said his company Celinder Basses is importing Alembic to Denmark exclusively - and it isn't one he's ordered recently) .. can you tell me how old it is? the serial number is: 903406

and do you, or anybody else in here have any good advices to get a good sound from it directly to the tape? :o)

thanks - Laust

Hello Laust, welcome to the club.

Unfortunately we cannot help you with any history because we do not keep track of our rackmount units in the same way we do with our basses.
