I am talking about those natural wood beauty marks making your Alembic(s) unique and special! Also, add fun, what message do you think it represent or share what others say about the markings? If everybody join in, the Alembic players from the past, will make our spirits right. We can add photoshop pics of Julius Caesar, Fernando Llamas, and Porky Pig all playing Alembics with tuning machines facing in the same direction! Wouldn't that be cool!!! I'll find a photo of it soon. On the top it looks like there was a burn mark in the wood that was sealed over. It's right where the top laminate meets the neck.
