Back in the mid-80's I owned an Exploiter shaped bass but for the life of me, I cannot remember what model it was. I have a couple of non-digital pics of me playing it and sitting in a stand so here's the best I can do to describe it: *fretted 4 string *quilted maple top over what I believe to be a mahogany body. *All maple neckthru with ebony board *P-J pickups * 3 control knobs and no switches. I know this was not a terribly expensive bass by Alembic standards and I bought it from Select Guitars in Norwalk, CT somewhere around 85, give or take a year. I bought it new and I traded it in a few years later at East Coast Music in Danbury, CT. The bass used to be visible in some of the old magazine ads East Coast would place in various guitar mags. I'm just curious to know where it ended up. Any help would be great! |
