Hello Mica, or anybody else.
I'm having a small problem with the 5 pin output on my bass.
The inner part of it came loose from the outer part. There's nothing wrong with the metal part that's mounted on the outside of the bass, but it's the, I think plastic, part with the 5 pins that should be locked inside the metal part. It came loose from the metal part. I noticed a hole in the metal bus and a screw with a tiny square plate on the plastic thing. My question is, how do I fix this? on the picture the metal part is called A and the other part B. Can I fix it, or does it have to be replaced?

Thanks,
Manfred

There's a small set screw accessable from the inside of the cavity that hols the connector (B) in the housing (A). You just need a small blade screwdriver to tighten back up again.

Ok, I will do that, thought so but wasn't sure of it.

Thanks and have a nice weekend.

Manfred - I think it may be worth mentioning, I have found that some of these connectors have set screws with reverse threads. So, when you think you are making it tighter, you are actually loosening it.

Yeah, thanks, I just came to that conclusion.
But it's working again, thanks to both of you.
I just told my girlfriend, "can you imagine any other brand with a faster and better service that this"?

Try telling her that when you want to buy another one (laughing).
