Distinctive bass. I watch a lot of Asian music shows and videos. If I see it, I will report it. I surely hope you will get it back.

oops...a typo...not thinking clearly. Yes, correct serial is 78-1062! Thanks for the heads up. I got mugged-hit from behind-on the way home from a gig. Didn't stand a chance! Personally I think it's gonna be very difficult for them to get it out of the country. Singapore is small, with only a few entry and exit points, with a VERY efficient police and customs force so here's hoping! But I guess it could turn up anywhere. Thanks for the support guys! Maybe there should be a counsellof for those of us unfortunate enough to lose their Alembics cos my flabber is well and truly gasted!!!

As a person who has had an instrument rudely taken from him, I feel your pain. I hope you get it back and have many years of joy.(((Good Luck)))

Afrobeat, I am with you.

Marcus, don't be defined by this my brother. You just watch something really great come out of this. When something very terrifically terrible happened to me, I ended up on top 10 fold in the end.

Mark my words, good things will happen for you. Please believe me on this. I been in this situation where somebody broken in my mothers house and stole all my recording equipment and masters. I was angry, they are the real losers because I can continue to wall with the truth and light of Sun, while they need the cloak of darkness.

What a sad way to live, the a life of a thief.

Peace and Love,

Hal-

To quote a line from the movie, "House Of Games":

"Happens to the best, happens to the rest."

I know of at least one well-known guitarist who was robbed face-to-face of his guitar. Take comfort in the fact that you survived safe and sound. I know we all love our gear, but it's just stuff. You can and will get another bass (hopefully another old Alembic short-scale :>)

I, for one, appreciate the fact that you are here to post this notice. Getting jumped from behind, this whole thing could have turned out so much worse...

As Hal, wrote, Peace and Love to you, brother.
