Hi all, My 12 years old daughter wants her bass. She is only 155cm (5feet) tall, because I recommended short scale bass. She is interested Fender Mustang bass, but I feel little bit noizy. Then I have a plan of Alembicized for Fender shortscale bass. Fender Bronco and MusicMaster bass (also original Precision bass) have one stratocaster size PU. Anyone knows fitting STR Activator for bass ? I want to know frequency matching of PU and Filter. Eiji |

A "Special-Design Split Single-Coil Mustang Bass Pickup" to be precise (always wondered what a regular-design one would be). Bronco & Musicmaster, however, did/do indeed have a one-piece p/up. Peter |

get her a smaller bass. Personally I'd go for either a daisy rock or the new flea bass junior. Graeme |

I owned one of the Fender Japan Mustang Bass reissues and really liked it! I didn't find any noise problems at all. I thought it had a nice, punchy sound - actually, I have a soundclip! next to last excerpt Played with a pick, through an Alembic F-2B preamp. |
