I was lucky enough to get a Further for Christmas...truly spectacular!! Was wondering if anyone has seen other Further/Tribute cases where pickup covers don't have the gold Alembic stamp? Just curious...

I'm planning on plain black pickups for my Furthur, currently under construction. I don't know if there are actual covers on the pickups, or if what you are seeing is the pickup itself. If it's the latter, it might mean replacing the pickups entirely. I'm not sure. |

Alembic does both, with logo and without. There are no covers on these pick-ups. They are essentially magnets encased in plastic. Congrats on the Further. Enjoy! Nick |

My Further pickups are black without the gold stamp. I think they look great set in the ebony top. Nice Further, Jae - beautiful quilt! (Message edited by tom_z on March 31, 2010) |

Tom, I, too, love the look of the solid black p/u's against the body of the Further. Just didn't realize it was an option from the factory. Thanks. |

My Further has cocobolo covered pickups sans logo. I also really like the quilt, Jae. Bill, tgo |
