Mica I've just spoken to James from the Bass Centre (House of Guitars) in London, and he's informed me that my bass should be delivered around March 7 (he said he'd been told I already knew this but I didn't!). He also informed me that superb walnut 241, which I chose for my top, is an upgrade; he said £400 or so? (I guess that would make it around $600 - $800?). Unfortunately I was not aware of this at the time I chose it(it wasn't mentioned at any point in our various discussions)and so due to financial constraints I'm probably going to have to pass on it. This leaves me with the problem of choosing another top (and back) assuming you haven't started the body of the bass yet. If you've already started it, where do I stand? Obviously I appreciate this may put the delivery date back somewhat. I would be very grateful if you could clarify. Thanks Shaun |
