Dimensions of short scale basses

In terms of "possible", the external dimensions of the case are 48" long, 17" wide and 4.5" deep. Overall length of the bass is just about 44". The body is about 14" wide at the widest, and about 14.5" long. It's about 10.5" wide at the horns and 9" at the waist. The headstock is almost exactly 6" wide including the tuners, and it is about 8.25" long to the business end of the nut. The exact specs will have to differ a bit from bass to bass when the neck dimensions are altered. My basses have a slightly narrower neck, so they may be a bit narrower in the body as a result. Body thickness, in particular, tends to vary mine is a bit over 1.5" on the bass with no back laminate, and the knobs and hardware stand most of an inch up from the body.
