Hi Alan,

There's a discussion about (amongst others) volume/volume and volume/pan on this thread. Some seem to prefer two volumes, because with a pan pot you will only get the full signal from one pickup at the very end of the sweep, and never a full signal from both - others think the pan pot is the best invention since sliced bread. Preferences, preferences ...

The stereo output is like having a separate output for each pickup. You could have only the bridge pickup signal have some chorus added, and only the neck pickup signal some fuzz. You could even have a complete rig setup for each pickup. You could use an F2-B (2 channel preamp) but that's just one of many options ...

I use the stereo out on my Series bass to go into an F-2B; the neck pickup into channel one and the bridge pickup into channel two. This gives me the flexibility to EQ each pickup separately. I then exit the F-2B using the mono output.

I recently sold a bass with EMW and AXY/Fatboy combo, (Vol, Pan, Bass, Treble, Filter Q) The wood combinations were similar to the bass I kept with Anniversary Electronics.(Vx2 filterx2, Qx2)The degree of open, airy, tone was incomparable, even in straight mono. No matter what was done with the controls, you could not even isolate one pickup and max the tone quality to compare with Anniversary.Does anyone know the price difference?
