When do we get to "show off your knobs", "show off your tuners", "show off your control plate mounting screws", and "show of your truss rod cover"?

How about a 'Show Us WHO Was Watching Olie in Allen, Texas' thread?

Myself, I'd like a 'Show Us the Most Interesting Thing Found in the Vents/Ports of Your Cabinet', or conversely, 'Show Us the Largest Mammal Killed by Your ELF Bin at Short Range'.

This was already posted in Pierre's FTC thread, but I remain curious about whether what's happening here is the vermilion is in the process of changing color.

Jeez Flip, I'm at work here. :-) Someone should have warned us this thread would turn screwy. Sorry, couldn't help myself.

Look at the pickup height, though, Hal! Way too high.

Hey Hugh,

It's cool if it works for you.

I believe Stanley Clarke has his neck pickup so high, it becomes his "thumb rest" while playing.

Peace and Love,

Hal-

It's not working for me. It's something I've been meaning to do. Your thread actually made me think of it again....

"I believe Stanley Clarke has his neck pickup so high, it becomes his "thumb rest" while playing"

I'm guessing this is not that unusual.

I don't use thumb rests . I use the side of my thumb to mute and pluck with along with three fingers on my right hand. Most of the time very close to the bridge.
