Well, it's a little later than I'd like, but it's available for your viewing pleasure:
Double Duty.

And just because Alembic Club members are so awesome, here's a couple of extra images to enjoy:

It must weigh a ton, though. Nice bass in any event.

I just love the orange-y look of vermillion. Really cool that it's a double five. My only question is: Is the new owner about the size of an NFL lineman ? ? ? Can we hook Geddy up with one? It'd look a lot cooler than that pawn-shop Jazz !

That is so cool. I can't comment on the weight of a double neck but my fretless rogue is as light as a feather compared to my signature deluxe so I don't suppose this one will be much more than the sig.

That's hotness. I would hate to play a 3+ hour gig with it. Me thinks it would be a bit heavy.

That's very, very cool! The Rogue body almost looks more suited for double than single neck design. What keeps holding me back from building one is deciding on the endless possibilities.

This one is a real beauty - very inspirational.

Congrats Frank!

Correct, reading the COTM on this it says they put the 5-pin input since he uses series basses so he could power this with his power supply

There wasn't a Factory to Customer thread on this build, but I collected images of the construction. Here's some scrap from trimming the neck:

Whoa! Ten "the hard way"!

But does anybody actually favor the neck pickup on a fretless? Bridge pickup all the way, and turn down the treble! :-)

Yes , I like the bridge pickup all the way up and the neck pickup about a third the way up with the highs cut just a bit on a fretless .

I can also see how you could also get the Kandinsky thing from that remnant .Maybe it is just a matter of letting your mind flow to similar motifs and interpretations . Like music, similar elements exist
constantly mutating within multiple representations and perceptions . Why ? maybe it's the beauty of the human mind . Like improvisational music we can let all of the various elements reflect and digress .
I like that aspect . Nothing ever gets old that way .

That cutoff to me looks like the front paws, head and pricked up ears of a scottie dog.

Whatever it looks like, that scrap should get sanded, finished and displayed, I hope it doesn't end up in the dumpster!

Oh, and lovely bass, as well. I think I'd have to play it seated, but I bet it sounds just wonderful.

Kandinsky, for sure.
Even looks similar to a lithograph we have.
