Mark,

I received your email yesterday, but wasn't able to reply with an invoice, which has the Paypal information on it. You'll see it on Monday, and the money@alembic.com address is the one we use for Paypal.

I'll let you know when I receive the materials you mailed so that I can proceed with your order.

I never used paypal which causes problems when I try to buy on ebay. Several years ago I purchased a 1974 Fender Jazz. I was charged twice and it took me more than 6 months to get a refund. I bought another bass and it wasn't as described. I contacted the seller and he wouldn't do anything. I put in several claims with ebay and paypal and never received a response. Since then, I stopped using paypal. Another reason is that my cousin is an assistant postmster. He told me that if I make a purchase using a postal money order and then mail it to a seller and the seller does not ship what was promised or what was described in the ad, it becomes mail fraud and is punishable by up to 5 years in federal prison and a $250,00 fine.

Paypal has undergone major reforms and improvements in recent years. I too had an incident with a seller on ebay about 4 years ago. In my case I fund my Paypal purchase's with a credit card rather then having what they refer to as a "verified account" where they use a bank account to fund purchases'. I will not comply to their request to become "VERIFIED" I will not be assimilated! What saved me from losing $635.00 was the fact that I used a credit card that carries with it credit card protection along with the fact that credit card fraud is a felony similar to the case as with a postal money order scenario.

Currently I believe that Paypal has worked out the flaws for the most part. I use it very often now with NO incidents at all ! I can say that from a buying perspective because I have not yet collected funds with it as a seller .

We received them and sent the truss rod cover on Sept 24 by Priority Mail. I will email the tracking number to you.

Hope it shows up soon.
