So, the Exploiter I just aquired has hat knobs, one of them is loose but functional. Just wondering the best way to go about tightening it, then this beast is ready to growl! All comments/opinions welcome. |

1/16 hex driver - and there are 2 set screws on each. |

Thanks Mica. Tried a 1/16 allen tool, fits, screws are tight but it's still loose, it feels like it's loose almost to the pot. Pot isn't scratchy. But I gotta tell ya, this bass looks and feels amazing. (It's Alembic, duh!) |

Maybe the pot is loose to the bass? Remove the knob and try to wiggle the shaft. If it moves, you'll need to tighten the nut. If the pot just feels especially "spinny" then you'd have to replace the pot. Some of the older ones had a less resistive feel, but work just fine. |
