Dumb question about hat knobs

Just wondering the best way to go about tightening it, then this beast is ready to growl! Tried a 1/16 allen tool, fits, screws are tight but it's still loose, it feels like it's loose almost to the pot. Pot isn't scratchy. But I gotta tell ya, this bass looks and feels amazing. Remove the knob and try to wiggle the shaft. If it moves, you'll need to tighten the nut. If the pot just feels especially "spinny" then you'd have to replace the pot. Some of the older ones had a less resistive feel, but work just fine.
