Check out the Ocean Blue custom 8 string: http://www.alembic.com/info/fc_trip.html Trip used this to record some songs on: http://www.tripwamsley.com/cd3.htm "It's Better This Way" I picked it up and what an amazing CD. Manring is on there, too. Trip uses the 8 string and other Alembics on some of the tracks - he was a little nebulous about which ones in email, but regardless, this is a nice sounding album. I love the Middle Eastern style of his fretless technique. Bass Central had a picture of Trip playing this but they have revamped their site and I don't see it anymore.
