... it does seem to represent some kind of milestone. And, in my view, if you'll allow me to say so, it's a reflection of and testament to this community, this place that all of you have made together; and it's an opportunity to say thank you to Mica and Susan and Alembic for making this place possible for us. And as we close out this year and head into the next, it's an opportunity to say thank you for your friendship, and to wish all of you a happy new year.

Cheers to the Alembic Club!

Dittos from the land of desert, snow, and black ice. I've got to head over donner pass (hiway 80) in the wee hours tomorrow.

This is indeed a rare great group and one that I hope to be involved with for many years to come.

Dave, that milestone represents at least 10,000 good deeds, with Keynsian multipliers so many more emmanate from your assistance. Alembic has chosen its moderators wisely, and personally, thank you for your capable help!

Dave,

Many thanks for your prodigious contributions!

I do have to admit that I thought you were going to wait for midnight on the new year to pull the trigger on 10,000 but I guess this would have really messed up your stats for the year!
