Pink Floyd posters from Dark Side..

Author Message terryc Senior Member Username: terryc Post Number: 1462 Registered: 11-2004 Posted on Sunday, January 02, 2011 - 5:26 am:    Having just been in the attic to get the Xmas decoration boxes I was diverted to looking at my old LP collection when I found the original posters which were included in PF's 'Dark Side of the Moon' They are still folded and undamaged, I also found the poster that was included in Black Sabbath's 'Master of Reality' album. I have the reproduction of the Sabbath one from the CD version, and I had the Japanese version of Dark Side, though I stuck mine on the wall and then lost it... I had a friend who worked at a record store (Amoeba in Berkeley, CA) - I had been given an old copy of George Harrison's "All Things Must Pass" LP set with the box, poster, everything. I asked how much it might be worth - he said only $20 or so! Apparently the only things that are worth tons of money (hundreds to thousands of dollars?) are original pressings of rare albums like the Beatles's "butcher cover" - stuff like that. I mentioned on another thread that I still have my tour programme from the Wish you were here tour. Cost all of 15 pence (30 cents back then) but I saw one on ebay recently going for over £100!.
