I have an alembic europa 4 string bass. I would like to ask if anyone has change the brass batterie cover with a batterie clip box for easyer change of battery. I would like to change it but I don't want to make new holes for the screws. If I am right you are wanting to change the cavity cover to a Warwick bass battery compartment with easy open door. No Alembics have this, they are all screws into inserts..the reason..the battery for the pre amp lasts ages under normal to average use. You would have to do some modification if you still insisted on this type of battery cover.
