Hi ... I'm thinking about selling my 1985 Alembic Spoiler (original owner, virtually mint condition), and am wondering if anyone knows what it might be worth. Thank you!

What is the top wood? Is it stock or are there any upgrades...ie: hardware, electronics, etc? The first Alembic I ever got...and still have...is an '85 Spoiler...wonderful instrument!

Yeah, it's a fabulous thing! The top wood is bubinga, the core is mahogany, the neck is maple with an ebony fingerboard. The tuners are Schaller. I bought it from the store like this, so I'm assuming there aren't any upgrades.

the usual going price for any 4 string Spoiler is between $1200-1600. but it also depends on what someone is willing to pay for it, hope that helps a little

Mine is Bubinga too...nicely understated with a satin finish. I think Taylor's range is about right. Good luck.

The top is very nice, and it appears to be in very good condition.
